ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the role of online campaigns in changing the way how charities communicate. According to Duane Raymond, managing director of e-campaigning consultancy FairSay, medium-sized and large charities are better at e-campaigning but often differences in the opinion between senior managers and practitioners arise as to how they will use it effectively. The greatest benefits of e-campaigning are speed and cost. Aside from emails, viral emails and online advertising, charities can also take advantage of social networking sites.
