The article discusses the physics behind measuring the correct pressure for the solar collector circuit. It states that the collector subsystems forms a closed, fluid-filled loop filled with an antifreeze solution. The relationship between absolute pressure and boiling point for this fluid is presented. Procedure for selecting a pressure relief valve pressure is presented.
