ABSTRACT
The author proposes that the question of language is approached from the perspective that all European languages are equal and necessary in order to form and respect all the pieces which make up what the public know as Europe. It distinguishes between majority language and minority language. According to the author, majority languages are considered to be treated in legal and political spheres as languages which ensure the equality of the inhabitants in certain territories defined by state borders.
