ABSTRACT
The article outlines the provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 that can help small business owners. Temporary fee reductions or fee elimination on Small Business Administration (SBA) loans can be provided by the bill. The bill also allows SBA to guarantee up to 90 percent of some loans. A small business owner can be eligible for a loan of up to $35,000 from the SBA. An addition $30 million will be provided by the bill for the SMA Microloan program.
