ABSTRACT
The article reports on the increase in the number of candidates applying for dermatology residency slots and dermatology training programs in 2009 in the U.S. In 2007, more than 700 candidates signed up for available dermatology slots through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). The article notes the availability of three more programs and 10 more slots alloted for dermatology specialization.
