ABSTRACT
The article reports on the victory of the Arizona Cardinals over the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2008 NFC Championship game. The Cardinals, which is said to be the most unlikely team to reach the Super Bowl when the playoffs began, defeated the Eagles, 32-25, and will now face the AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII taking place in Tampa, Florida on February 1, 2009. Highlights of the football match are described.
