ABSTRACT
The article deals with a recent study, conducted by the Scarborough Kids Internet Panel (SKIP), which found that American teens are optimistic, yet cautious that U.S. President Barack Obama's economic recovery plans will be successful and have an impact on their lives. Nearly half of the African-American teens polled said they are very optimistic about the president's economic initiatives, compared to only 24 percent of Caucasian teens and only 20 percent of Asian teens polled.
