WSU docs to work for DMC?

The article reports that hundreds of academic physicians in 10 of the 15 practice plans that are part of the Wayne State University (WSU) Physicians Group in Detroit, Michigan could soon become employees of Detroit Medical Center (DMC). In documents obtained by Crain's Detroit Business, the proposal is supported by DMC CEO Michael Duggan and WS President Jay Noren. Robert Mentzer, dean of the WS medical school, is opposed to the transfer of the majority of university faculty practice plan.
