ABSTRACT
The article presents the opinion of several economists of the U.S. in relation to their expectations with the passing of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009. Jeffrey Rogers Hummel says that the biggest problem with the stimulus package is the amount by which it increases total government spending. Megan McArdle opines that expanding unemployment benefits and food stamps will work. While Johan Norberg says that doing nothing would have been preferable to doing bad things.
