ABSTRACT
The article reports on the performance of stocks in the U.S. It reveals that the Dow Industrials recovered to 1,536 points following its decline of 6,511 points from May 2-March 2009, meanwhile, Dow Transports declined 3,346 points from June 5-March 9, 2009. It is anticipated that the Standard & Poor 500 Index will experience a downfall of 37 percent year-on-year in March and ratio of negative profit warnings to positive warnings of the companies listed in the index will be 4.7-to-1.
