ABSTRACT
The article explores the level of reporting required by the economic stimulus funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), for states and local governments in the U.S. It outlines some of the reporting requirements, including the need to submit a list of the funded projects and quarterly reports to the granting agency detailing the amount received. Valerie Brown, president-elect of the National Association of Counties (NACo), relates that Vice-President Joe Biden claims they would fix problems that would arise from the requirements.
