ABSTRACT
The article presents a study which examined the relationship between conventional Christian beliefs and paranormal beliefs against the conflicting and contradictory hypothesis by parapsychologists M. A. Thalbourne and R. O'Brien. The study used a measure of paranormal belief designed to access the notion of classics paranormal beliefs that is continuous with conventional Christian teaching. The study found no significant correlation between paranormal and three indexes of conventional religiosity, which are public worship, frequency of personal prayer and attitude of theistic belief.
