ABSTRACT
The article presents two Biblical meditations on the lectionary passages for May 24 and May 31, 2009. The first focuses on John 17:6-19 and discusses the Ascension of Jesus Christ. The second takes selections from Ezekiel 37, Psalm 104, John 16 and Acts 2 and relates the significance of Pentecost and the bestowal of the Holy Spirit.
