ABSTRACT
The article looks at the results of a survey on the number of high school biology teachers who discuss creationism or intelligent design as an alternative to evolution. As many as one out of eight teachers are suspected to present creationism in the classroom. The study suggests that teachers do not teach evolution in depth due to a lack of confidence in their own knowledge on the subject.
