The article offers a study which investigates the predictors of rearrest for a large sample of adult probationers in Illinois by comparing the state's most populated county with the state's other counties. According to the article, several multivariate analytic techniques were utilized to determine the predictors of rearrest during and after the probation period. It is stated that the significance of the comparative analyses for the evaluation and supervision of probationer are noted.
