ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the results of an Internet poll, which asked about the importance of social networking in marketing. The poll was conducted by the "The Business Journal," for its readers in Fresno, California. The results show that only three percent of participants consider social networking as an important part of their marketing strategy. About 47 percent readers say that they do not incorporate social networking in their marketing plan at all.
