ABSTRACT
The article presents an economic outlook for Kazakhstan's KASE equity index as of June 2009. The country's equity index has since come under renewed selling pressure after gaining around 100 percent since the beginning of March, alongside the improvement in global risk demand. There has been a bearish outlook for the country's local stocks based on the country's economic outlook.
