ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use of art as an alternative approach in learning for undergraduate and graduate students in a teacher education program in Northern New England. It mentions that teachers who develop their own artistic voices encourage critical and creative thinking in the environment. It adds that educators who use expressive technique in teaching promotes creative energy, risk taking and imagination to all learners. It concludes that this experience is an eye-opening experience to teachers who would contribute to the impact of student curriculum.
