The article reports that the U.S. Department of Education (DoEd) has given 191 million dollars to Nebraska under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) which is intended to save jobs and reform K-12 education. It mentions that the funding is considered as one of the largest boost in education funding in the state. It relates that in order to receive the money, Nebraska has assured that it will analyze, collect and publish basic information about student and teacher improvements.
