ABSTRACT
The article reports on the increase in science and technology (S&T) funding in the U.S. through the economic stimulus bill known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act by President Barack Obama in February 2009. It mentions that Obama will increase the gross domestic product of S&T to 3%. In addition, Obama plans to increase the development of alternative energies and lower the effect of climate change. Information about agencies that supply most of research funding is also presented.
