ABSTRACT
The article reports on the draft guidance on conservation of historic sites in Great Britain. The new draft of PPS15, Planning for the Historic Environment will view the historic environment in the context of climate change by encouraging cuts in emissions when decisions are taken about altering the assets. It states that planners and developers must view the historic environment as an asset to development.
