ABSTRACT
The article reports that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has awarded Lockheed Martin a potential 10-year, 822 million dollars contract to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for its fleet of 16 P-3 Orion surveillance aircraft. The contract has a two month phase-in period worth 3.9 million dollars, followed by a base-year and nine one-year options. CBP said it sought competition through the bidding process but that only Lockheed Martin responded.
