ABSTRACT
The article discusses use of a dual-linear phacoemulsification platform that allows cataract surgeons to maximize their control of the surgery. The system which is available from Bausch & Lomb Inc. separates the phacoemulsification and vacuum which is considered an improvement in cataract removal surgery. The platform is seen as a system that can handle hard cataract and clear lens extraction and increase the efficiency of phacoemulsification.
