ABSTRACT
The article presents a study of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) on key practices to improve the approach to facility protection by federal protective services. It is stated that GAO aimed to determine the security efforts of the Federal Protective Service (FPS) for the buildings of General Services Administration (GSA). It notes that GAO analyzed pertinent documents of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and GSA. It also mentions the recommendations from GAO.
