ABSTRACT
The article discusses how many Americans are angry about the compensation being paid at financial companies that owe their very existence to colossal bailouts from the U.S. government. The article suggests that lower pay for these corporate tycoons would simply mean more money for the shareholders who own their companies, and that it is 2009's rebound in profits that is causing the uproar. Statistics are given on compensation paid at Bank of America, J.P. Morgan Chase, Citigroup and others.
