ABSTRACT
The article examines the results of the sixth sex survey conducted by the periodical "India Today" in 2008. Among the sexual taboos that are no longer considered as out of bounds by Indians are homosexuality, adultery and prostitution. Sixteen percent of the respondents accept homosexuality while 20% of men have had sex with prostitutes. Results also show that the percentage of respondents who had never had sex is higher for women than for men.
