ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the Solvency II requirements and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Phase 2. It states that IFRS4 Phase 22 is likely to be enforced at the same time of the implementation of Solvency 2 and residual concerns that came out the financial crisis are driving the investment in procedures. It says that Solvency 2 has major components, which include the computation of a more risk sensitive capital requirement.
