Sun to restructure global marketing arm

The article reports that Sun Microsystems Inc. is planning to reorganize its global marketing divisions in order to reduce costs. Sun has decided to cut around 6,000 jobs. Recruitment is not going on in the company, which has announced that its chief marketing officer Anil Gadre is being promoted to executive vice president of the Application Platform Software business.
