January 2010
Garden;Jan2010, Vol. 135 Issue 1, p8
The article reports on the new points-based judging system being introduced for floral exhibits across the flower shows of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to mark the end of a 100-year tradition of collective view judging in Great Britain. According to Nigel Colborn, show judge and member of the RHS Council, the change was part of the effort by the society to improve standards in all aspects of show judging. He adds that the new system offers greater objectivity and more consistency.
