ABSTRACT
The article reports that 125 of the 250 British government suppliers sent data by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) on direct emissions and those associated with energy usage. The results of a survey conducted by CDP showed that most of the 164 businesses did not report their large-scale supply chain emissions, while two-thirds of respondents had carbon cutting goals where most were lower than the 2020 national targets. The British government plans to reduce 35% nationwide carbon emissions from its 1990 levels by 2020.
