ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the views of Linda Thompson, the Mayor of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, regarding the economic development in the city. During mayor campaigning, she said that businesses must also pay back something to the city if it was provided tax incentives. She wants to follow her former mayor Stephen R. Reed who had developed many projects in the city. Her plans include forming a business advisory council to focus on business incentives.
