ABSTRACT
The article presents an argument for the use of renewable energy sources. It is the author's opinion that alternative energy sources should be explored due to global warming, declining fossil fuel resources, and the impact of fossil fuels on health. Various types of renewable energy sources are examined and include wind energy, solar energy, and geothermal energy. Worldwide energy consumption and dependence on fossil fuels are also discussed.
