ABSTRACT
The article presents a criticism of the way U.S. President Barack H. Obama has handled his first year of office. It states that after his election, he had much in terms of political capital, but in pushing forth a faulty stimulus package, he lost much of it. Other cited mistakes committed include failing to address rising unemployment, going ahead with health care reform despite failing to stimulate the job market, and failing to anticipate the negative reaction to his Troubled Asset Relief Program for ailing financial firms.
