ABSTRACT
The article reports on rumors about the possible nomination of Donald Berwick to the position of administrator at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Observations pertaining to the rumors are presented including the lack of an affirmed appointee due to implications of healthcare reform.
