ABSTRACT
The article discusses the various aspects of vegetarian diets and childhood obesity prevention. The authors explore the health effects of vegetarian diets and the potential biological reasons for the protective effects of plant foods in the context of preventing childhood overweight and obesity. Also tackled is the anthropometric variables in vegetarian children and adolescents.
