ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the electrical design and the annual energy savings on the geo-exchange system of WestJet Airlines Ltd. corporate campus near the international airport in Calgary, Alberta. It discusses the designers' innovative thinking and sophisticated control in achieving the optimum efficiency of the campus' geothermal system. It looks at the design and incorporation of the geoexchange piping loops in which it involved many hundreds of model years to combine the system components.
