ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use by U.S. corporations of Web logs in their operations. According to companies that use blogs, these online resources help customers gain insight on companies, while the companies themselves are able to monitor industry developments, competitors' activities and learn more about their customers. Steps on how businesses can start using blogs to promote their services are provided, including establishing a presence in social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
