ABSTRACT
This article addresses the issue of teenage pregnancy, sex education and prescription of contraceptives among African Americans. It presents the medical services of DuSable-Bogan Clinic located in DuSable High School in Chicago, and other school-based medical facilities in the U.S., which provide sex education and dispense birth control devices. It tackles the debate among clinic supporters, religious leaders and pro-life advocates on teenage pregnancies, birth control in the schools and related issues.
