ABSTRACT
The article discusses the paranoid political philosophy of American Jews in relation to existential threats to Israel. The author argues that the antagonistic policies of U.S. president Barack Obama are not worth worrying about in relation to Iranian nuclear proliferation, the increasing militancy of the organizations Hamas and Hezbollah, and the lack of prospects for a permanent Arab-Israeli peace settlement.
