ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the "Act Against AIDS Leadership Initiative" program of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). Under the program, grants have been provided by the CDC to incorporate HIV/AIDS education and awareness, to integrate HIV prevention strategies and to create a network of organizations that can support the unique challenges facing HIV prevention efforts.
