ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) in Ireland to seek insolvency specialists to help it take control of any assets with poor value. It cites the plan of NAMA to acquire 81 billion euros of loans from Anglo Irish Bank, Allied Irish Banks, Bank of Ireland and the Irish Nationwide. Also mentioned is the desire of NAMA to establish a panel of 24 insolvency and valuation specialists to review business plans from borrowers all over the world by August 2010.
