ABSTRACT
The article reports on the demonstration held at Nollen Plaza in Des Moines, Iowa on June 2, 2010 to protest the massacre of civilian aid workers and activists on May 31, 2010, during the Israeli attack of the Free Gaza Flotilla in the eastern Mediterranean. Des Moines Catholic Worker David Goodner compared the flotilla attack to war crimes and crimes against humanity. Economics professor Ismael Hossein-zadeh forecasts the isolation of Israel from the international community as a result of the flotilla attack.
