ABSTRACT
The article looks at the revisions on the Standards for Reporting Interventions in Clinical Trials of Acupuncture (STRICTA). First released on 2001, the guidelines were developed to enhance the completeness and transparency of reporting of interventions in controlled trials of acupuncture. A revision to the guidelines was the extension of CONSORT to include the reporting of non-pharmacological treatments and pragmatic trials. A checklist of data to be included when reporting interventions in a clinical trial of acupuncture is provided.
