ABSTRACT
The article criticizes the decision of the U.S. Treasury Department towards car dealers which contributed to the economic fallout. It mentions that the Department caused many job losses that led into economic fallout when it made a decision to shutter car dealerships as part of government-led bankruptcies. Neil Barofsky, inspector general for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARF) said that it failed to disclose whether the purpose is for companies' survival or for nation's economic recovery.
