ABSTRACT
The article suggests some ideas on how to lighten the load of a child's backpack in order to prevent back pain, which include the selection of a backpack that has two wide straps with good padding, the avoidance of using the one-shoulder method and the use of a rolling backpack if the load weighs more than 10-percent of the child's body weight.
