The article focuses on the increasing use of online media as a marketing tool which can affect its use for research purposes. The author suggests that the trend can be difficult for users because numerous sites offer inaccurate information for them. He criticizes commercial sites that usually convince users that they have such illness and then propose to sell something to cure it.
