The article focuses on a survey made on August 3 and 5, 2010 in which majority of respondents agree that corporate election spending is an attempt to bribe politicians. It states that in another question, 60% of the respondents disagreed with the U.S. Supreme Court ruling wherein it founds unlimited campaign expenditures by artificial legal entities such as corporations to be protected free speech. Furthermore, 68% of the respondents want candidates to reduce lobbyist influence in lawmaking.
