ABSTRACT
The article reports on the renovation of the Berlin Wall by the East German authorities in Berlin, East Germany. It reveals the grim purpose of the Berlin Wall which has reduced the flow of refugees and has turned East Germany to a Communist nation by sealing off professional and skilled labors. It notes that since the Wall was built, 70 people have been trapped and killed among the wires, land mines and machine-gun towers forming a 100 yard death zone in the border.
