ABSTRACT
The article discusses a Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) report which states that a huge financial burden will be placed on excessive polluters who will be forced to alter their products and services to emerging new standards. The report also notes that stricter regulations will boost the materiality of climate change for investors and raise costs for firms that fail to manage their greenhouse gas inventories. The CDP has contend that emissions reduction is the most effective carbon management route for transport.
