ABSTRACT
The present study proposes a dynamic model on how both attitudes toward candidates and attitudes toward issues can simultaneously and dynamically change in response to candidate's issue position information. The proposed model was tested using the issues of gun control and the legalization of abortion in two experiments with a cross-lagged panel design (total N = 220). Results from structural equation modeling partially supported the proposed model. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript
